ABOUT
LEICESTER PARENTS
SUPPORT GROUP
The Leicester Parents
Support Group is
made up of parents
of gay sons and lesbian
daughters. Our
group exists to help
families and their
lesbian and gay offspring
to understand, love
and offer support
where needed.
Leicester Parents
Support Group is
affiliated to Fflag
(Families and Friends
of Lesbians and Gays),
a national organisation
that is dedicated
to supporting parents
and their gay sons
and lesbian daughters.
LPSG is here because
we, as parents, find
it hard to break
free from our own
misunderstandings
and fears and may
experience problems
accepting and supporting
our gay and lesbian
offspring. We
can help parents
develop new understanding
and acceptance.
The group meets ten
times a year as an
informal support group
where we offer a friendly
listening ear. We
also campaign for acceptance,
justice and equality
for our children. |
